The nine, in one line each
The Balanced — Sleeps well. Eats well. Carries an even temper. The constitution everyone is trying to come back to.
The Qi-Deficient — Tires easily. Speaks softly. Sweats without working. The body is honest but thin in reserve.
The Yang-Deficient — Cold hands. Cold feet. A long winter every winter. Prefers warm food and quiet rooms.
The Yin-Deficient — Runs hot. Sleeps light. Dry mouth at 3 a.m. The mind is quick but the well is shallow.
The Phlegm-Damp — Heavy in the limbs. Foggy in the morning. Carries weight around the waist no matter the diet.
The Damp-Heat — Oily skin. Bitter mouth. Short temper. Strong appetite that does not always serve.
The Blood-Stasis — Dark under the eyes. Cold hands. Old bruises that take their time. The blood is honest but slow.
The Qi-Stagnant — Sighs without thinking. Carries the meeting home. Sleep arrives late and leaves early.
The Sensitive — Allergies. Sensitivities. A body that reacts before it explains itself. Honest, but easily overwhelmed.
